Julie Caruso Haines
I served with the Army JAG Corps from 2002-2011. In my first assignment as a Legal Assistance Attorney, I managed the legal section of a Soldier Readiness Processing center for thousands of Reservists and Guardsmen deploying for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. For two years I served as a trial counsel before working as an appellate defense counsel where I represented hundreds of Soldiers, including a death row inmate, before the Army Court of Criminal Appeals and the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. I am thrilled to continue working for servicemembers and veterans as a civilian defense counsel. My areas of expertise are military justice, court-martial appeals for all branches of the military, and other military administrative proceedings.
