Susan L. Nawyn
Susan Nawyn spent 3 years in the Army JAG corp on active duty. Most of her time on active duty was as a prosecutor, and the rest was providing Legal Assistance to Soldiers and their families on personal civil matters. For the past 13 years, her experience has been in the field of military law exclusively. She enjoy helping current and former servicemembers who need someone to speak up on their behalf. Her experience is in the areas of courts-martial appeals, discharge upgrade requests, correction of military records, and federal claims against the military. She has extensive experience before all service courts of criminal appeal, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. She assists Mr. Cassara in the areas of brief writing, discharge upgrades and Boards for the Correction of Military Records. She also works in the areas of Physical Evaluation Boards, Medical Evaluation Boards, and the Physical Disability Review Board.
