We have been representing an Army doctor who received a GOMOR for allegedly falsifying medical records. As anyone who does military justice knows, commands frequently use GOMORs when they simply don’t have enough evidence to give someone an Article 15 or a Court-Martial. This was such a case. In spite of the GOMOR the doctor was selected for a competitive residency program. There was also evidence he suffered from PTSD after working in a mass casualty environment. We petitioned the DASEB to have the GOMOR removed or transferred to his restricted fiche, and learned today that it had been transferred, so he will now get promoted. Next step is to petition for removal.
