Obtained removal of bar letter for Army contract employee in Afghanistan

Mr. Cassara represented an Army contract employee (and retired NCO) in Afghanistan who faced a bar from the installation over an alleged assault.  The command proposed to bar him from post, which would have meant a return home and the loss of his job.  These are very difficult cases to win because the standard for the command to approve a bar letter is very low. However, Mr. Cassara wrote a detailed rebuttal to the proposed action, and the command agreed to lift the bar letter and allow the contractor to remain in Afghanistan and keep his job.
