Secured retention for a Marine Major who facing discharge for several alleged acts of misconduct in Iraq and CONUS

Mr. Cassara represented a Marine major who facing an Other Than Honorable Discharge for several alleged acts of misconduct in Iraq and CONUS. After a prolonged hearing, the Board of Inquiry determined that the major had not committed the majority of the alleged acts and that he should be retained in the Marine Corps. This decision not only allows the Major to continue to serve in the Marines but saved him from the stigma of an Other Than Honorable Discharge which the government had sought.
