The command giving thoughtful consideration to the evidence provided through our firm’s diligent representation on behalf of our client

We are pleased to call attention to a recent decision out of Fort Gordon concerning a young officer accused of sexual misconduct.  Our client, a student at the Signal Basic Officer Leadership Course, was to be given a General Officer (GO) Article 15 for abusive sexual contact as well as other inappropriate behavior.  In addition to the GO Article 15, our client was to be processed for separation, quickly ending his Army career.  However, after an exhaustive investigation by our firm, exculpatory evidence was discovered and provided to the command.  This led the command to withdraw the Article 15 and instead opt to issue our client a General Officer Memorandum of Reprimand (GOMOR).  Our firm then zealously advocated for a local filing which would allow our client to proceed with his career.  The command correctly agreed with our position and the GOMOR was filed locally.  This case was a great example of the command giving thoughtful consideration to the evidence provided through our firm’s diligent representation on behalf of our client.
